How can you block out the intense glow given off by a 1000w bulb from glowing out a door or window?

Answer

There are many different ways to cut the light out. For a door you can install weather stripping that usually works or if that's not an option you can hang some thick black plastic in front of the door. For windows use cardboard or thick black plastic.
