I'm paying a big light bill and am worried about the hydro readings. Any suggestions???

Whatever you do, DO NOT STEAL HYDRO!!! It is the easiest way to get busted on the planet. You could try converting your hot water tank to propane and vent the co2 into the room for the plants. That would reduce a hydro bill and give the plants their much needed co2.

Kyle Cushman of "High Times" is adamant about 24 hr light during the veg cycle! What's your take on that???

As I always say plants can not photosynthesize for more than 18 hrs. and anything more is a waste of hydro.

Do you know if "Sunmasters" Cool/Warm deluxe lights are appreciably better than your standard 1000W MH/HPS? The reason I ask is my local grow shop doesn't carry them, and I was thinking of ordering one of them?

Sunmasters are a more expensive light and a better spectrum. The tri-lights are even better, they come in 1150w sizes and give off all three spectrums for growth and budding.
