I am using my spare bedroom for my grow space and I will have to do veg growth and flowering in the same room to keep the strain going. I have a closet with very little space and don't know what type of light would work for clones and would the clone light hurt the plants when they are budding.

I would use fluorescent lights in the closet, they do not give off much heat and can fit into small spaces. With some show and grow bulbs they would produce the light spectrum needed by the clones. 

Question

Tell me,  under a 400W M.H. for 24 hrs/day, and all other conditions are ideal, will this amount of light improve the plants and make them grow faster than using normal lighting times. 

Answer

Using a light for 24 hrs. a day is a waste of electricity. Plants can only photosynthesize for 18 hrs after that the plant will shut itself down and it makes it harder to switch to the budding cycle as you will not now when the plants are actually waking up and going to sleep.
