Power thrive and super thrive are a b vitamin complex for plants. You can get it from any hydroponics store or any nursery.

I was tooling around in the nursery this weekend.  I wonder, for cloning, what medium do you prefer? 

Answer

I prefer to use a peat moss medium with perlite and vermiculite in it so that is drains well yet retains the moisture needed for rooting.

How dry should you let the soil get before watering?  

Answer

On clones you should water and mist them every day. On larger plants you should let the soil separate from the containers and then water them with a good watering. The bigger the plants the more water they will need.
