Is smell always an indicator of how good the weed is?

No smell is not always an indicator of how good marijuana may be. However 80% of the time, if the smell is really pungent and sweet, it will be great. If it smells like rope then maybe you shouldn't be smoking it. The only way to be absolutely sure how good your marijuana may be, is to smoke some.

I'm not getting a buzz off this marijuana I have been smoking for awhile. Other people tell me it is good and they get a buzz. What's wrong?

Answer

Smoking one particular strain of marijuana may cause the body to become immune to it's effects. Try another strain. Perhaps you smoke too much and you should lay off it for a few days. Coming back after a few days is always a good buzz.
